"Chemistry in Context" is a textbook that uses the advantages of three medias to generate an support motivating and effective chemistry lessons. The textbook consists of schoolbook, CD-rom for students and internet site.
The schoolbook has 13 lead-contexts that allow to get into the subject by everyday, environmental and scientific questions. The students are supported and encouraged to develop their own questions and to bring in their previous knowledge. Five basic concepts shall help to master the contextual knowledge and to learn chemistry systematically and sustainable.
